2009 Indie Series Results

There was no minimum number of races to qualify for the series overall, however, the series overall placing was calculated using the accumulative points of a racer's best 6 races.

This year Team TAI had 11 members who met the 6 race minimum. Matt Lynch, Henry Shaw, Vince Haag, Chris Liebsch, Russ Moul, Francisco Pons, Jenn Sinclair, Jeff Osborne, Jackson Burklund, Keegan Fitzpatrick and Aaron Agudo were able to maximize their series points by attending at least 6 races. This feat was difficult to accomplish due to family commitments, injuries, illnesses, at times awful weather and even a race scheduled on Easter. Your dedication to mountain bike racing is very impressive! Vince Haag earns the over-achiever award this year by making all 8 races.

I also wish to mention the family of Aaron Agundo. Even though they do not race mountain bikes, they are so supportive bringing him out to 7 of the races so that Aaron can experience the sport he obviously loves. Thanks!

Once again Black Diamond Racing-Team TAI had several members making the podium this year. Congratulations on your mtb series! Team TAI values ALL team members regardless of your final placing, so a HUGE SHOUT OUT goes to all members who proudly wore the red & black this season!
